Our friendly warden Bob is great at answering any questions you may have and can give clear instructions when you arrive.
However, in order to best prepare your stay at Melvich Bay Caravan Park, here is a list of questions we get asked the most:
– CAN I PITCH A TENT?
We do not accept tents on park.
We only accept vehicles.
– CAN I PUT UP AN AWNING?
Yes, you can and at no extra cost.
– DO YOU ACCEPT ROOF TENTS SUCH AS A TENTBOX?
Yes, we accept tentboxes, a tent coming out the top of a vehicle.
– CAN I ACCESS THE BEACH?
Yes, there is access towards the beach from a gate at the bottom of a field.
It requires you to go down a steep hillside path at present which might be tricky for some individuals.
The road access to the beach is just along the road and is around a 30 second drive.
– ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Dogs are welcome on the park with a lead but they can run free on the beach!
– WHAT TIME DO YOU CLOSE?
8pm.
– DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS AND TOILETS?
Yes, we have beautiful self contained shower and toilets on park.
– WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH PITCH?
We have fully serviced pitches with electric hook up and running water at each pitch.

There is no escaping the midge in the North of Scotland.
Our location by the coast with the breeze can certainly help.
Best defence against them is a midgey net!
